Our first Riftbound: Origins event of many this year at Roll N Play! Whether you’re diving in because you love one of the best new strategy games of the year or you’re already a seasoned card-slinger, this is your chance to join a fun, beginner-friendly release event full of deck-building, surprises, and prizes.
If you’re new to Riftbound, make sure to check out our Demo Days to get familiar with the mechanics and meet other players before the big event. Russell, our in-store League of Legends pro, will be running sessions to help everyone learn the ropes.

Entry Fee: £30 (includes a sealed Champion Deck and two sealed booster packs)

Champions available include Jinx, Lee Sin, and Viktor. You’ll build your deck from these alongside your two booster packs.
🧩 Event Format and How It Works
Deck distribution and building
At check-in, you’ll receive your sealed Champion Deck and booster packs. This is a Limited event: open your boosters and swap cards into your preconstructed deck to personalise it. You must keep and play the Champion you are assigned. Decks must have a minimum of 30 cards. Any extra cards form your sideboard, which you can swap between games.
Match play
We’ll run Swiss-style rounds (usually 3–4 depending on attendance). Matches are best-of-one (BO1) and last 40 minutes. Pairings will be generated using Carde.io software and posted each round. Report your results to the organiser once your match ends.
How to win
To win a match, you must earn 8 Champion Points. Points are scored by conquering lanes. When you reach 7 points, you can only win your final point by conquering both lanes or holding one lane for an entire turn.
If you’re unsure about any rules, please speak to Russell or attend our Demo Days to learn the basics before the event.
💬 Spirit of the Day
This is a casual, community-first event focused on learning and fun. Be respectful, ask questions, and help newer players when you can. We’re building a friendly Riftbound community right here in Dorset.
It’s also a great opportunity to get familiar with the cards ahead of future tournaments where bigger prizes will be up for grabs.

Refunds & Returns Policy
You may cancel your order at any point up to 14 days after receiving your items. If you decide to cancel after dispatch, you will be responsible for return postage and must ensure the goods are sent back in the same condition they were received.
If items are returned used, opened, or not in their original condition, we reserve the right to deduct up to 50% from the refund or decline the return. Most unopened and unused items can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. We cannot accept returns for products that have been opened or used.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 7 working days of receiving it. We’ll arrange a suitable solution such as a replacement, exchange, or refund at no extra cost to you. After this period, we may not be able to accept claims for damage or defects.
Note: For collectible or blind-packed items such as trading card booster packs, replacements can only be offered for the sealed pack itself, not for individual cards inside. In these rare cases, you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly for further help.
Pre-Order Cancellations
You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund any time before the order has been dispatched. Once shipped (usually one day before release, or on release day for TCG products), the order will follow our standard returns policy. Orders that benefited from free shipping or discount codes may have postage costs deducted from the refund amount.
Other Returns
If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a fault, please contact us at bookings@rollnplay.co.uk so we can resolve the issue quickly. Where a return is necessary for these reasons, we’ll cover the return postage up to the standard shipping cost. Please note that general return postage for change-of-mind cancellations is the responsibility of the customer.
